London, UK — DVV Media International (DVV MI) today announces the sale of Truck & Driver magazine to Kelsey Media, the owners of Trucking Magazine, completing the final divestment of DVV Media International’s portfolio of brands.
Truck & Driver is a long-established and highly respected title within the UK road transport sector, with a loyal readership and strong community engagement. Under Kelsey Publishing’s ownership, T&D’s existing subscribers will receive Trucking Magazine, which sits in a commercial vehicle portfolio at Kelsey Media that also comprises Professional Recovery Vehicle magazine, Classic & Vintage Commercials and Classic Truck.
Andy Salter, Managing Director of DVV Media International, said:
“The sale of Truck & Driver marks the completion of DVV Media International’s divestment programme. Truck & Driver has been an important part of our portfolio for many years, and we are pleased to see the brand move to Kelsey Media, a business with deep expertise in enthusiast and specialist publishing.”
Phil Weeden, Divisional Managing Director at Kelsey Media said:
“We’re delighted to have acquired the Truck & Driver brand. We hope we can protect the legacy of this excellent publication through our existing offering of Trucking magazine, while we also explore ways we can continue with the Truck & Driver brand in other guises well into the future.”
The transaction marks the completion of DVV Media International’s brand divestment, following the announcement of the sale of its Road publishing and events portfolio to Mark Allen Group and divestment of its Aviation, Rail, International Logistics and HR media and events portfolio to Pro Media Group, announced in December.
