New John Mitchell model duo

Search Impex is delighted to announce the release to new models customised in the distinctive and well-known livery of a Scottish operator, John Mitchell haulage and warehousing. The models have been produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI models as a certificate limited edition of 155 pieces each.

“Grange indominable” is a Scania R500 normal (6X2) tractor unit with a tri-axle, curtainside trailer, while “Grange Vettriano” is a Scania R500 with bulk tipping powder tanker trailer.

Based in Grangemouth on the banks of the Firth of Forth, John Mitchell haulage and warehousing was established by the late John Mitchell back in 1956. Over the years, the company has been awarded a number of industry accolades, including the prestigious Motor Transport, UK Haulier of the year award in 2002, and Transport News Scottish Haulier of the year in 2016. The Scania R500 units are a relatively recent addition to the fleet and may already be a familiar sight too many collectors of truck enthusiasts throughout the UK and possibly beyond. Models available now from search impacts are priced at £149 each for the curtain cider and £157 for the tanker (including UK delivery & VAT). For details of availability of this and other models, collectors can visit the Search Impex website at www.search-Impex.co.uk or call on 01332 873555.
