Its bank holiday weekend, where will you be? Biglorryblog will be at Truckfest

Yes its the annual gathering of super clean and shiny trucks at the Peterborough showground, and this Biglorryblog editor will be there all weekend alongside  my colleagues from Truck & Driver magazine. Something a bit special this year on the T&D stand, you can get up close  to some very rare trucks.  The stand is mainly themed around heavy haulage  and features not only the  Mercedes SLT, but the team from ALE will be on hand to answer questions about their mighty Trojan.Scania fans will be able to cast an eye over a heavy haulage  unit,  while fans of classic trucks can admire the impressive restored Rotinoff .

For a bit of glamour Jemma and Laurie from Shipping Wars will be signing autographs, and if you have the need for speed the Dave Jenkins racing truck and two drivers will be around to answer all your queries.

As ever there will be show discounts on Truck & Driver and Commercial Motor subscriptions and the famous T&D goodie bags for sale.
Doors are open to the public Sunday and Monday so hope to see many of you there
