RTX 2025 draws record attendance

Road Transport Expo (RTX) 2025 welcomed more than 14,000 visitors through the gates at a sunny NAEC Stoneleigh last month – an impressive 34% increase on last year’s attendance, according to official figures.
The three-day event which featured more than 330 exhibitors, a Ride & Drive experience and an insightful conference, showcased the very latest in trucks, trailers, technology and services, drawing praise from both attendees and exhibitors for its scale, energy and impact.
RTX show director Vic Bunby said: “RTX 2025 has exceeded all expectations. The support from the industry has been phenomenal and this year’s record number of visitors reflects the strong appetite for a dedicated HGV tradeshow that truly puts the needs of operators first.”
He added: “It’s been fantastic to see so many people connecting, learning, and doing business in the sunshine. We’re already looking forward to making RTX 2026 even bigger and better.”
Building on this momentum, the RTX brand is expanding in response to growing demand from across the UK’s transport community. Two new regional shows have been announced to bring the successful RTX experience closer to operators in different parts of the country.
First up is the inaugural RTX Scotland, taking place at the SEC, Glasgow from 19–20 November 2025. This new event will bring the same high-quality exhibition, networking, and conference opportunities to Scotland’s thriving road transport sector.
This will be followed by RTX Northern Ireland, set to debut at the Eikon Exhibition Centre from 15-16 April 2026, offering a dedicated platform for operators and suppliers in the region. The launch of RTX Northern Ireland was officially announced during RTX 2025 and received an enthusiastic response from both attendees and exhibitors.
“The introduction of RTX Scotland and RTX Northern Ireland marks a significant next step in the evolution of the RTX brand,” said Bunby. “By taking the show on the road, we’re meeting operators where they are located and offering more opportunities for connection, innovation and growth.”
Next year’s flagship Road Transport Expo will return to NAEC Stoneleigh from 30 June to 2 July 2026, promising another unmissable event for the industry.
