See through trucks on Biglorryblog- what a great safety idea

Over taking  trucks on single lane roads for car drivers can be difficult. Being unable to see past the truck  leads to drivers taking risks,. Samsung in Argentina recognised that  there were too many accidents caused by cars  making overtaking manouvers when  the road wasnt clear of oncoming traffic.   So they came up with an answer, make the truck “see through”  and give the cars behind   a clear view of whats coming towards them.Of course making a whole truck and its load transparent is currently a little beyond todays technology. However fitting a forward facing camera and monitors to the rear of the trailer can be done, and thats exactly what Samsung have done to some of their fleet of Volvo trucks. click on the video below to see it in action
