The MAN that can goes to Maen Karne, Biglorryblog reports

The men who can move half a million tonnes of China clay a year, have gone for MAN’s and Kelberg trailers to increase their fleet.

Maen Karne, a south-west based and earth-moving specialists, has taken delivery of six new Euro-6 MAN TGX 26.440 6×2 tractor units. The new units come as fleet additions and coincide with the arrival of four new Kelberg T100 bulk tipping trailers.

“We have run an MAN 6×2 with a tri-axle trailer previously on block deliveries within the fleet, and with great success, “Our company is now growing and we need a solid platform on which to build. We have not run Euro-6 vehicles before but feel this is a significant step forward in establishing that platform and, at the same time, becoming a more environmentally friendly company.” said Transport Manager, Martyn Lyne.

The increase in fleet size, including the additional trailer equipment, is part of a concerted branding image ‘push’ by Maen Karne as it continues to haul over half-a-million tonnes of China Clay to local ports annually.
