Can you help R G Carter track down this Bedford advert?

This photocopy of a magazine or newspaper advert for Bedford comes from the archive of Norfolk-based builders and contractors R G Carter. Now the company is trying to track down an original copy, and thought that Biglorryblog readers might be able to help.

The advert is believed to date from the 1950s but there is no record of which transport publications it appeared in. So far we have been unable to find it in the Commercial Motor Archive, though there are a lot of issues to look through!

R G Carter was established by the present chairman’s grandfather in 1921, which means it will be celebrating its centenary in just a few years. If you recognise this advert and have any information that will help narrow down the search, please email [email protected]
