Convoy Cymru is on this weekend at Pembrey Race Circuit, tickets are available on the gate for £20 and there’s a whole load of great stuff lined up for you to enjoy!

The big beasts of racing always deliver white-knuckle entertainment, and as usual there is some top-quality driving talent behind the wheel this season

The British Truck Racing Championship speeds into Pembrey this weekend for the first of two visits to South Wales in 2022 – and if last month’s season-opener at Brands Hatch is anything to go by, we are in for aspectacular show of big rig entertainment. Headlining a mammoth two days of track action at the inaugural running of Convoy Cymru, the five‑tonne heavyweight behemoths will be the centre of attention as they write the next chapter in what isshaping up to be a captivating campaign. As the trucks lifted the curtain on the new season in Kent over the bank holiday Easter weekend, a bumper crowd was treated to a feast ofentertainment. More of the same is expected here in the picturesque Welsh countryside.

More than just racing

On top of five BTRC races, those attending Pembrey this weekend will be able to experience a festival of all things trucking thanks to Convoy Cymru!

 

Tractor pulling. motorcross displays, live music, kids facepainters, open top bus rides on the circruit, loads of show trucks. Hey, even the weather looks good!

Sunday 8th May | Race 3: 09:45 / Race 4: 12:00 / Race 5: 15:20

All races will be streamed online for free via the British Automobile Racing Club YouTube channel with Saturday’s broadcast beginning at 11:35 and Sunday’s at 09:30.
