Here’s a something in Convoy that we’ve never noticed before. Sam Peckinpah’s trucker epic is packed with symbolic details

Ok, we admit it, we’ve watched this film so many times we can recite the script. Convoy, on the surface is just a silly film about trucks. There’s a lot of negative reviews about it, but people have also returned to it in recent years and revised their opinion of it. It’s got some quite deep themes, and there’s a LOT of little details that you’ll not notice.

We’ve just spotted this 55mph sign that gets knocked down at the start of the Alvarez jailhouse scene. Well WE haven’t noticed it before anyway haha!!
