Sigma bringing anti-roll and anti-skid demonstrations to Convoy in the Park
The Sigma Group is coming to Convoy in the Park and will be running anti-roll and anti-skid demonstrations in the Action Arena across the weekend.
Essex-based Sigma Group comprises three complementary businesses that cover different aspects of the transport industry: Sigma Studies Ltd, which carries out all transport training; TAC Ltd, which is a transport consultancy and compliance specialist and IRST Ltd, which carries out rollover and anti-skid training.
All three companies will be represented at Convoy in the Park at Donington Park with exhibition stands within the Market Approach. Sigma is also bringing along its IRST vehicles to provide rollover and anti-skid demonstrations, which will be taking place at the Action Arena.
In addition, a number of spectators will be allowed to participate in the demonstrations, alongside Sigma’s specialised instructors.
Visitors to the Sigma stands can register their interest in any training Sigma, TAC and/or IRST offer and be entered into a free draw for a one-day rollover and anti-skid training day.
There will also be free goodie bags for any interested customers – including a discount voucher – and a limited number of free goodie bags for children.
IRST’s training promotes safe, effective driving operations for the transport industry. The ‘Lessons for Life’ driving skills give the drivers the knowledge and confidence to act decisively to avoid road accidents caused by skidding, rollovers and jack-knifing. Through practical training, with specially equipped vehicles, drivers gain the experience and technique to be able to act correctly before critical situations develop.
The rollover and anti-skid training courses are approved by JAUPT, enabling each driver to obtain seven hours Driver CPC hours and also by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
